Hello. My name is Alex Mattis. Residing in Austin, TX. I’m a simple man. I enjoy a fine sandwich with a cold beer and I maintain that Forrest Gump is greatest film in the history of mankind.

I graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in journalism (and a minor in something called “social sciences”).

My writing resume began when I was selected to be a part of Texas’ “Education: Go Get It!” campaign and work on the Wiley’s Way project. I’m a published author. Wild, I know. From there I dabbled on 411Mania, where I covered pro wrestling and began writing about combat sports. My stuff from 411 kind of sucked, but it was great to get some exposure and experience. Following, I did a little work with the NT Daily and MMA Recruiter’s eMagazine.

I currently contribute to FightHubTV.

This is my blog. I rarely update it, but when I do some people read it.
